James Schisler resigned from his role while the company is in the process of being acquired by Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.

The Brand House Collective, which saw net sales fall 9.6% in Q3, converted three locations to Bed Bath & Beyond stores in the quarter.

The Brand House Collective, formerly known as Kirkland’s Home, will close its Brentwood office — impacting 88 employees.

Mark Worden has also resigned from the company’s board. Meanwhile, former CEO Cliff Sifford will step into the top role on an interim basis.

The home retailer is building a tokenized investment platform, supporting its larger goal of being involved in home financing.

The company will run a dozen combined The Container Store and Bed Bath & Beyond store formats in the state, despite Marcus Lemonis’ previous stance.
