Dollar General CEO Todd Vasos to step down, again

Jason Bonfig will succeed her on Oct. 31. He currently leads the retailer’s ads and marketplace businesses as chief customer, product and fulfillment officer.

The change is part of the company’s turnaround plan, which also includes exiting apparel and closing brick-and-mortar and online stores in Canada.

In a 6-3 decision, the court rejected President Trump’s claim that a 1977 law gave him the authority to impose broad tariffs globally.

The apparel brand will open eight stores across Florida, Texas, Minnesota, Tennessee and North Carolina throughout this year and into 2027.

Parent company Associated British Foods plans to separate the fashion retailer from its food business before the end of 2027.
